For centuriesalong the Baltic Sea, as the beads, here were fishermen's houses. There lived brave and skillful people, who went far off the coast in the boats to bring ashore abundant herring, cod, flounder and eel hauls. Epoch steps in this scene has dramatically changed, Kurzeme fishermen tribe has vanished. The memories is still alive... In order to preserve evidence of Kurzeme fishermen work and social life has established exposure '' Kurzemes zvejnieka sāta'' in Vērgale parish Saraiķi. Here you can see the fishing gear and household items, as well as to taste something from a fishermen's table. With prior notificarion.
